JUCO OT Miguel Machado
For a little while, it was looking like Purdue was going to miss out on both of their top offensive line targets down the stretch. A.J. Allen decided to go to Kansas State and following Miguel Machado's visit to Michigan State this past weekend, it was looking like they were the team to beat.
However, Machado made his decision today per his twitter account where he announced that he would be going to Purdue next season.
This is a big coup for the Boilermakers as they were struggling to find tackles that could have a chance to be starters for next season. Today they picked up one that should be able to fill that role.
247Sports Composite rates Miguel Machado as a three-star prospect. Machado was committed to Washington State until today. He was considering Purdue, Washington State, Washington, and Michigan State down the stretch.
Machado's commitment to Purdue gives the Boilermakers 20 so far in the class and moves them to number 64 overall in the team rankings per the 247Sports Composite.
