Bowman SF Davon Dillard
This past Sunday, Davon Dillard talked about the interest he was getting from the Boilermakers and how he could see himself playing for Purdue. Today, Matt Painter and company stepped their game up by offering the rising sophomore from Gary, IN.
Dillard, a 6-4, 180-pound small forward, was at Purdue today for their final team camp of the summer. Bowman Academy was running a little late this morning but from the second Davon stepped on the court, he was ready to go.
Davon is an athletic wing player with good size and an improving shooting touch. He finishes around the rim quite a bit, mostly above the rim. His outside shot is hit or miss but that's typical for most players his age.
Purdue is Dillard's first offer. He is also getting attention from Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, Memphis, and Indiana.
Playing for Meanstreets on the grassroots circuit, Dillard will be someone that Purdue will definitely be keeping an eye on through the hectic month that is July.
Correction: Dillard plays for Meanstreets, not SYF Players.
